Nowadays, polluted environment is considered to be one of the most controversial issues which draws considerable attention worldwide. In many parts of the world, animals and their habitat are seriously being threatened. Lately, people must have amazed to witness thousands of fish killed in Lousiana. On September 10th 2010, the Bayou Chaland area of Plaquemines Parish was full of dead fish. It was widely thought that the Gulf of Mexico oil spill caused this disaster. Various species were killed including redfish, crabs, shrimps and freshwater eels. This not only affects the whole ecosystem in Plaquemines Parish but also results in serious pollution.
