Just recently I finally started dating again and got in to a healthy new relationship after my last one ended bad. I never really got over my trust issues, and when my ex boyfriend would call and hang up or leave me harassing messages at all hours of the night, I never really felt safe. I considered changing my cell phone number, but I have had this current number for over 5 years I can't change my number now. I would try to look up the unknown number by calling 411 and doing a reverse number look up but found out that the unknown number was a cellular phone number and they couldn't do the reverse cell phone search because they don't have the data base for cell numbers, I felt helpless. So eventually it got to point where I just didn't answer any unknown calls.

But one day one of my friends told me to go to Google and look up Reverse Cell Phone Numbers, I found a site that has a private data base of cell phones that detectives and private investigators use, and now available to the public. I could go in there and look up some ones cell phone number with their name or type in some ones cell number and find out who owns it. Now I can tell who is calling me even if they don't leave me a message. And now I learned to block the unwanted number on my cell phone and stop the harassing phone calls.

I feel like I gained control of the situation by using the tool and resources I found on the internet, I empowered myself and did something about it. I have learned to use the cell phone directory for everyday use now, like when I can't remember a friend's cell number, or when I want to see who called me to and forgot to leave their name in their message.
