The industrialized nations of the world are hoarding oil and they bought quite a bit of it while oil prices were at $ 35 per barrel. Now that oil is up at over $ 70 per barrel and no one can understand why; nobody needs the oil, so why did the price increase? It appears that hedge funds along with Chinese stimulus money have enjoyed a power play in the commodities markets.

What is totally interesting is both the United States and China are full up with their oil supplies. The price of oil should be dropping, not going up. Of course, this rapid rise in price is going to help all the companies that competed in the oil contract bidding in Iraq as their oil infrastructure is coming back online and may be up to full speed within a few years.

Another interesting thing is happening; we are watching a tremendous amount of military buildup in the Middle East, and in China, and India. Militaries cannot fight a war unless they have oil, and those nations that don't have an Oil supply cannot buy fuel to fight a war fast enough once a conflict starts. It would appear that the stage has been laid for World War III. And the US's involvement in Iraq only put it off for 10 years, thanks to the Bush Administration.

Are we going to see in a major escalation in human conflict in the next few years? It is quite possible and everything is absolutely set up for a major conflict, and unfortunately it could very well escalate into a world war. We can only all hope that this will not occur, but with all the increasing tensions the groundwork looks like it has been already laid out.

But what do I know? I'm just a guy with a keyboard and a voice recognition system that likes to write articles.
