When you see yourself in the mirror, do you ever wish you could be as slim and fit as you used to be? Weight loss self hypnosis techniques can help you take those images of your past and make them a reality. In this 3 part article series, you will learn step by step how to use the power of your subconscious mind to achieve your weight loss goals.


The visualization faculties of the human mind are used whenever someone tries to recall a past event, especially an event that is full of vivid images. Negative examples of visualization are: worry, doubt, and fear. In the self programming techniques you are about to learn, you will use the pictures of your mind in a positive, constructive way.


Before you can use visualization to its fullest potential, you will need to lower the frequency of your brain waves down to the alpha level, which is between 8 and 10 hertz per second. When your mind functions at these lower frequencies, you are able to consciously program your subconscious mind to help you materialize anything you wish for.


By triggering the phenomena called rapid eye movement (R.E.M.), you will be able to enter the Alpha state anytime, or anywhere. Here is how you can do it. Stare at an object or spot on the wall that is straight in front of you. Raise your eyes slightly above that point (15 degrees) and then close your eyelids. This will trigger the same rapid eye movement that is experienced during dream sleep and will induce the Alpha brain wave frequency.


Take a deep breath and remain still for a moment, so that your mind can sink deeper and deeper into the Alpha state. You are now ready to harness the resources of your deeper mind. Your mind was meant to serve you, but you need to give it a positive direction, in a language that it understands.


Your deeper mind speaks the language of imagery. These images will communicate with your subconscious mind the details of your goals and aspirations. They will help you overcome obstacles and remove doubts on your road to quick, healthy, and permanent weight loss.

You will learn to paint images of your future self, trim and fit, so that your subconscious will begin to work its magic for you.
