Try training your dog to behave properly and not essentially mess the entire house. Teach him to obey certain basic commands like "sit", "jump", "quiet" and more. Ask your dog to sit at a position and then each day slowly try increasing your distance from your dog. At first he may try to locate you and will ultimately discover that you are nearby. Slowly move out for some time and notice whether he stays at the same position where you left him. If he does, then treat him with a reward. Remember never to pet him if he does not follow your instructions.
